I liked this hotel. The medieval building exterior is a nice change from the Euro-modern seen all over the city. The room was a fairly standard European single--bigger than my Siberian dorm, but not a ton of extra space. The breakfast buffet was included and served in a cool series of basement vault-like rooms. Two of the mornings I planned to leave the hotel before the breakfast opened, but I talked with the desk the night before and there was a sandwich waiting for me the next morning. Very friendly staff. I spoke with a family and a ship captain who both said that they like to stay at Linna when ever they are in Helsinki. There is a grocery right across the street and a couple good places to eat within a block.
